I get the negative comments, but a filmmaker shouldn’t be obliged to be morally righteous or ethical in their fictive story. art is about feeling, not about didacticism. Almodovar’s film is twisted and gut-wrenching in many aspects and I loved how obsessive, tortured and melodramatic it was.
