  the way abuse distorts your experience of reality is so well captured here. i have never felt so seen by a movie and been so fkn triggered at the same time. it like, opened a portal in me that i did not see coming. had me and my roommate sobbing afterwards. emotional kink: 1. me: 0. all ye who have experienced parental abuse, let this review be the trigger warning i didn’t have going in!

  wow, passed this by so many times and then it’s suddenly the perfect first day of menses dark & murderous comfort watch 💅🏼

  i’m not versed on the actual details of Macbeth, but i am currently hot for anything that could fit into the ‘good for her’ or ‘*now* i’ve really lost my mind’ genre. 

  and i speak for all shes, theys, and gays when i say that we all just want to be able to haunt a beautiful house after we’ve turned on everyone we know.

  this movie reached it’s peak when they absolutely *nailed* the final scene, which i obviously watched twice.
