The Substance 2024
SO wild lol. The first two acts didn’t really do anything for me because the message felt very obvious (we all wish we could restart as a younger/better version of ourselves but young you doesn’t understand the lessons you’ve had to learn through your years of experience). But when it got to act 3 everything changed. I thought it was so interesting and entertaining, it made the rest of the movie worth it. All the actors were great, but I was more focused on the SFX

I have no clue why folks think he’s hot. Das nasty. In my opinion, the whole “attraction” to that vampire dude (can’t spell Orloff) is her fighting against her natural sexually deviant tendencies. It’s like a sexy (very fleshy) Babadook. Her shame is what encompasses her in the end.
