why do i watch the saddest movies on a plane. had to wipe my snot and tears on a flight to minnesota and also i had to skip the sex scenes in case there was a kid sitting near me. but u can’t tell me paul mescal isn’t gay like that was a bit too real. loved but also a lil confused i think im jus dum tho

i cried, i laughed, such a good movie telling such a fun story but with all the heart wrenching elements of being first gen chinese american. only thing was that u could tell didi didn’t speak mandarin very well which bothers me in aapi movies but maybe that was purposeful idk. the scene at the end made me sob and cry because it reminded me of my own mother. love u mom
