National Theatre Live: Small Island 2019
i will never EVER stop loving this play. it is so intensely powerful and everyday i feel so thankful i got to witness such a masterpiece LIVE. honestly, i’ve watched it over 100 times now and each time it still makes me cry. the technical aspects and the acting hold so much much power. and as for the STORY, ohhhh my lord. andrea levy is a goddess and helen edmundson has honestly worked some kind of celestial magic to make this play so beautiful. i love it, i love it, i love it.
