This movie is not good, but I love Michelle Rodriguez so much in this!! She’s such a tough guy action star and she nails it every scene she’s in. I also really like the practical effects when they’re used (dog puppet heads and zombie makeup) but the CG is just awful.
Zombie actors were excellent at being zombies, laser scene is iconic, audio mixing was all over the place, and soundtrack was so bad it’s good. Unsure if it wins or loses points for not starting with the “My name is Alice” monologue.

The sets and props were really fun! The lighting was excellent!
The rest of it was a bit confusing. Everyone looked the same and so I never knew who was dying or where they were. I wish they had more obvious colour coding or something??While watching this, me and my pal kept saying “Is this like an Alien situation or?” and it turns out Alien borrowed the whole giant skeleton distress call thing from this movie.
Also wild how little anyone in this cast cared about seeing a dead body.
