  Another one I had to watch for university. I had actually seen this film before as I am second generation Australian my mother come over from Italy to Australia as a child and would have had very similar experiences as in this quite funny film. Seeing Australian/Italian film and culture always makes me happy and homesick as I have since moved to Italy I do miss home. This film is uniquely Australian that it is egregious hehehe

  I have to say I throughly enjoyed this film. It’s introspective, tells a compelling story and has a very important message to impart. All the characters were engaging, the pacing was decent and the cinematography was stellar. An interesting take on the flaws and price of the American dream and what it means,  in the setting and feel of a classic Western that Scorsese  adores and had always wanted to make. The acting was stellar as is to be expected…
