  Costuming and aesthetics definitely shine here. There's some moments that drag and dialogue choises that break my immersion with how much they try to avoid modern-sounding words, but over all a good, moody film.

  But why the concave cheeks on Orlok? Let my mans have some meat left

  The garbage adaption curse continues for Ito.

  You can tell the people working on it were exited and passionate about it during the first episode, but as the studio has alluded, there were decisions made that made it impossible to finish with grace.
  A real shame.

  Also, four episodes is far too short to let the atmospheric pressure build up.
  The manga is peak, I recommend going back to read it if not for the story then for the beautiful illustrations.
