  something about fran seems so familiar, her character didn’t showcase anything dramatic or out of the ordinary.  i think her silent loneliness added to it and the way she connects with people ( robert )

  almost feels like she’s detached, watching life happen and never really engaging much with it, as her brain stays filled with thoughts of death

  felt like watching an exploration of love, loneliness, and desire, all set against the backdrop of a city that feels like it’s both alive and empty at the same time for some reason. 

  the apartment is almost a character in itself, where the three of them stay without ever belonging. becoming a metaphor for their emotional isolation.
  that space that holds no history with its empty mattress, was the only thing that knew about their yearning, and the connection they never found.

  to look back into childhood and remember that our parents were also still young, they had their own struggles that we couldn’t see with our eyes back then. 
  the melancholy of watching old memories and catching little moments we didn’t pay attention to has messed up my heart. It made me reflect on the memories i once had, grief hit me hard.

  Mikey’s portrayal gives the character a vulnerability that keeps you invested, even when the story itself isn’t always hitting the mark. 

  I also found myself curious about the character Igor and wonder what was his backstory for some reason. though i must say Anora stole the show and the last scene left me with a heartbroken feeling.
