Crimes of the Future 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I enjoyed the concept of the film, but the execution felt lackluster. Cronenberg presented Operation by Milton Bradly with extra steps performed with a fleshy Atari Jaguar controller, the most awkward massage chairs, and breathing at maximum volume... not my favorite of his works, but not a bad film either, just riding the middle for me.

The Driller Killer 1979

I went into this movie with the bar set pretty low and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Everything about it was gritty, the look, sound, acting, music but that's what contributed to its charm. The drilling scenes I felt were done quite well especially one in particular in which he is drilling into another mans forehead and honestly it almost looks real.
