    Good idea, terrible execution.

    Full of references to the studio's fairy tales. The main issue is the lack of what is present in any Disney classic: emotion.

    Forgettable and uncharismatic characters, shallow motivations and poorly constructed dynamics. Not to mention the missed opportunity to bring a colorful, playful and nostalgic atmosphere, which makes the film dark and gray. Great loss for the licensing department.

    It’s a fact that the message of the final sequence is cathartic. Leaving behind the idea that their desires were the property and responsibility of the king, the people recognize themselves as masters of their own destiny. Stunning, on paper.
