Well done independent film about a Tokyo business “turnaround” specialist who ends up finding himself while attempting to rejuvenate a cattle ranching business in small Montana town. We’ve all seen this basic plot before, but the beauty is in how our protagonist gets to where we know the movie must take him. The characters are engaging and the acting from some of the leads is top notch. The movie is full of laugh out loud humor as well as touching moments and stunning cinematography. Highly recommend!

The Milagro Beanfield War 1988
Colorful characters in a townspeople vs big land developer plot. The quirky characters, slowly developing plot and at times laugh out loud humor all make this a worthy watch and may be a candidate to some for repeat viewings. There are mystical pieces as well (one of the minor characters is a ghost/angel). Shot around Truchas, Espanola, and Los Alamos NM.

A captivating movie that provides an introduction to the black soldier experience during the Vietnam War. An engaging plot of finding gold buried by friends who met as soldiers in an all black platoon helps the movie make its points.
We jump between the current day and flash backs to fill in the entire story. The group has remained close, but their experiences after the war and philosophies differ. Will they be able to maintain their bonds while searching for the treasure?
