Watched this movie on US election night and boy does this film have reverberations to what’s going on in America today.
The Apprentice is a really well made film. Written well. Shot well. And acted well.
The two leads - Sebastian Stan (Donald Trump) and Jeremy Strong (Jeremy Strong) - give awards worthy performances, fully embodying the characters they are playing.
Watching Donald Trump’s ascension from working for his father’s development firm to New York mogul is akin to witnessing the creation of a monster.

This film popped onto my radar once it was screened at film festivals, and critics were raving about it. Almost all of them saying - go into this movie totally blind...knowing nothing.
