Heart Eyes 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Damn good slasher. Totally hits the notes like a scream film but with its own ideas and thoughts to pose to the audience. I do wish that it ended with a direct push to a sequel, that would have made me so excited, but I also appreciate they’re not selling out and asking for another film.

I had just gone through a break up when I first saw this film and my first thought was “wow that’s my ex” and my second thought was “oh wow I dodged a bullet”
In all seriousness this is incredibly well put together, I felt as though it was readily apparent to the viewer, just through the way Ben Affleck was our POV/protagonist, that he did not kill his wife. It wasn’t so obvious/apparent that we weren’t still questioning if he may have, or simply could have done something to her. It was handled well and the reveal was an absolute mind f**k.
