  Watching this now is interesting since the world as we know it is currently overrun by a disease as well. It’s a bit hard to get into at first but once you’re in, each scene makes you feel like you are there. Cozy picnic scenes to visceral depictions of pain and sin or simply poignant theological discussions. I’m  happy that I watched this movie today; it put me in a weird yet comfy mood.

  I remember clutching on to my friend throughout the duration of my first viewing, even through the parts where this movie was much less tense. Parasite is masterful and kept on me on my toes the entire fucking time. 

  Thank GOD this got best picture and best international feature and best director AND best original screenplay!!!!
  Much love for this film and all of the effort that was so clearly put into crafting this
