terrifying - it’s grotesque and disgusting, and also feels like hyper realism by the exaggerated portrayal of greed and hubris.
I won’t lie, i watched this because i was craving a terrible movie, and it did not disappoint.
For a movie that I watched just for rubbish content however, there were elements that were impressive. The symbolism was interesting, true to European cinema the cinematography and visual aesthetic was (mostly) consistently stunning, and the music was beautiful.

Anyone but You tries to emulate the lighthearted romcom renaissance of the 2000s, and whilst it is moderately entertaining, it fails to live to the standard set by now classic romcoms.
I did minorly feel insulted that in favour of chemistry and story, it was as if two remarkably attractive individuals placed on screen together could be construed as chemistry and romance. Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell do perform, but chemistry is probably a stretch. Simply put - it appears…
