jesse eisenberg was able to create a corporeal presence of grief and love authentically intertwined and there was not a moment of this movie where i didn’t feel struck with emotion .
kieran deserves all the praise and more and this is the strongest best original screenplay candidate in years

I admire the deadpan absurdist direction of the film and the concept of the melancholic mundanity of everyday life paralleled with the hopefulness of romance, but the complete lack of genuine characterization made it impossible to buy into the “romance”. Not a big fan of movies that make sense conceptually, but rely only on that, instead of showing it in the film.
