Society of the Snow 2023
Beautiful scenery which falls short on the lack of empathy towards the characters. The sheer number of characters makes their development almost non-existent making deaths lacking of any feeling. Could have been shorter by at least 30min as some footage is clearly to take up space. The same angles are re-used over and over some even show vehicle tracks on the snow.

Nocturne 2020
Flat and bland take on artistic performance pressure saved by the good acting of both main characters and interesting cinematography and camera tricks. Extra point for spotting the boogie man on the photo within the first 10minutes. The film ends with an impressive final shot, reminiscent of the ephemeral existence of performance artists and fame.
