Still really holds up. Not quite as scary as I remember it being, but the fact that the film looks so much older helps the impact of the dread you feel, imo.

The Brutalist 2024
While it’s visually and sonically extraordinary, I found myself leaving the theater feeling disappointed and blank.
The first half was solid but then it just combusts with a cliche, hollow, and frustrating second half and conclusion.
After spending nearly four hours with a movie and its characters, I hoped to feel something but this one is a lot of incredible style and not a lot of actual substance.
More intermissions in movies though, please.
