Sing Sing 2023
When the acting is so good a glance, or simply an exhale, is powerful enough to move you to tears. So many moments filled with such tender vulnerability, it made it all the more special to see how many actors played themselves. Uplifting and beautiful to see a film centred around the impact of art within a broken system.

Blue Jean 2022
A film that really depicts the self hatred and internalised homophobia of being queer (in Thatcher’s Britain). Painful, heartbreaking and completely relatable. I loved seeing a film set during this political climate focused on a lesbian. The intimate and tender scenes between Jean and Viv were some of my favourite, from the casual banter to the natural magnetism and sensuality between the two. Great soundtrack as well.
