I didn’t know any of this was supposed to be funny until I read some reviews. Visually, I rate it. Conceptually, I hesitantly accept it (bit black and white with the class divide commentary; there’s more to say here… but I got interested when they start hunting and fucking and fighting on the island). But I was SO distracted by the lack of exposition and development in Yaya and Carl’s relationship!!!! Stubbornly childish, toxic, emotionally stunted and disfunctional WHY were they together WHY did they stay together and  WHY couldn’t they talk to eachother without petty arguing?? So jarring guys

Fully put me off alcohol, drugs, parties, the French, sex, humans and life at large. I loved it.
