Thought it was super fun and never boring. It did a lot of things well but nothing about it really blew me away. For instance the aliens were neat but also pretty run of the mill. The body double premise is interesting but I’ve seen the same thing explored deeper in movies like Infinity Pool.
I know that everyone has been taking about how Bob, Kevin and Stuart have been subpoenaed for their involvement in the Jan 6 insurrection, but what I find personally the most distressing is the fact that the Minions refuse to say what they were doing between the years of 1933 -1945. I know everyone has strong opinions of this, but should we really be giving them such a large platform? I think Illumination needs to take a step back and really think about what their core values are.
