Funnier than I expected with some really heartbreaking bits throughout. Mikey was wonderful the whole way through, but Yuri really brought something out of her near the end that was really special.

A beautiful film. I loved the use of space and thought it was interesting how few ... People there were. A vastness that speaks to the population Poland lost in the Holocaust. Jewish trauma and pain on screen will always give me some feelings afterwards too.

A little bit sad, a little bit funny, very nostalgic, and a bit disturbing. Joan Chen was incredible. A blessing not to have been a straight boy in 2008. Really liked to the familial relationships. The friendships fading right before high school hit a little too close. Oh and did I mention Joan Chen?
