This movie is a fantastic introduction to a more gritty Batman. The action is amazing, the characters are compelling, and the story holds up. I do wish it was a little more surprising. Most of the reveals are pretty lackluster, but the overall plot is still engaging. I mostly wish there had been more of Ras Al Ghoul. Well, I wish one of two things had happened. The highlight of the movie for me personally is Denzel Washington’s performance and overall character. In this movie centered on fighting, having this background, manipulative villain is a real treat. Definitely worth a watch.
