Trauma
The more I think about this film and what it did and said the more I love it.
This is a deeply confronting and sometimes shocking film. It expertly weaponises graphic violence and raw confronting visuals of the female body to convey what Sharon Stone noted as female rage, in her interview with Director and Writer Julia Ducournau. The infamous Cadillac scene was equally shocking as it is daring.
