Do the Right Thing but for girls?
this was fun and silly but also incredibly stressful because it was about the looming threat of eviction but also the film didn’t deep that too much. the heavy spike lee referencing confused me a little tonally, it didn’t live up to that masterpiece but it didn’t need to! sza is the most beautiful woman alive! on the whole really enjoying this genre of cinema that has emerged fairly recently, it’s giving weekday trip to the movies (i saw it on sunday but i work sundays so weekday)
