  I wish I could rate this like a 3.75… brilliant concept, brilliant acting, it just bobbled a little bit with its rather convenient ending. And even Simone Biles loses points if she doesn’t stick the landing.

  Sadly my least favorite of the trilogy. Some predictable twists, and an occasional lack of attention to detail (both in art design and cinematography) that seems out of step with the other Poirot movies. I also feel like it didn’t lean into its own horror elements enough, so they were often, like, half scary. Fun, but kind of a letdown.

  It is one thing for this movie to whitewash the harm done to Native communities by the Manhattan Project. It is another thing for this movie to spread itself thin, trying to cover as much of a full life as possible. It is another thing for Christopher Nolan to stubbornly insist on using practical effects for the big test-explosion scene and come up with an underwhelming result (imo). 

  But it is COMPLETELY INEXCUSABLE for a movie of this scope and…
