  This film felt incredibly light, considering all of the topics and ideas it touches on. As I'm thinking about it, this film truly touches on a lot - use of power, humans imposing their will on the natural world, political impotency, fragile ego, trauma (kinda), control, etc. etc. So yeah, not very light subjects. How well the film hits on these topics and expands on them is up for debate and I could swing between it pulling it off and…

  A fun film that explores religion, in what I feel, a very surface over generalized way. 

  I think Hugh grant was fantastic and played the spooky man role really really well. Also, his Creep cover? Get the fuck outta here. 

  It had fun ideas, tense moments, and a “that happened” type ending. Enjoyed myself.
