  i just love these kind of movies. the room decor, the vibes, the romance, it all reminds me of who i am and what i like. the simple things that i enjoy. these movies feel like they give a taste to my life. they pack a hint of some faint yet noticeable spice.

  i can't begin to describe my happiness when i heard the lyrics of my favorite Malhun and Andalusi poems used as the soundtrack for this movie. even though it was very cautious in tackling the issue, it really did manage to capture the complexity of the Moroccan household. the mosaics on the floor really do foreshadow the intricacies and the complexity of Moroccans. i have grown to love these sets of contradictions. what a grand movie this was. the lead actresses were sublime. that one scene was really well done.
