Alice in Wonderland 1951
I love this film so much when I was little I would take a Hostess Ding Dong, put it in a box, and pretend it was the “eat me” cookie Alice ate to make herself bigger by crouching down and hopping up and down to grab it from the table (which I placed it on myself) and then gradually start to stand up as I ate the Ding Ding to pretend I was becoming giant…. I was an only child.

I watched this with my grandma, cousin, and my grandmas best friend in an entirely empty theatre except for the 2 gals sitting in the row above us. my grandmas best friend kept cracking jokes the whole time which usually bothers me, but made the experience much more enjoyable cause she has such charm and wit like this movie did. the movie was really really sweet and now the lovely woman that is my grandmas best friend has passed. when I think of this movie I think of her, so it makes me smile :)
