  watched this again for the first time in a while, honestly may be one of my favorite movies now. fantastic filmmaking and beautiful actors, i just love uma thurman so bad. also crazy that maya hawke was the love child of this movie

  simple yet moving film, nice cinematography. i like the overall story and understand that travis sees that he’s the same person he was and it’s best for him to leave again, but it doesn’t make much logical sense that he would take his child away from loving and stable parents and drop him off with a single woman with an unstable income. but overall did enjoy it

  amazing performance by mr. mcconaughey, shows the beautiful story of ron woodroof, though it seems upon further research that the director took many creative liberties to dramatize the movie, which has ended up portraying woodroof in a horrible light, and appears to not be an accurate representation of who he was. it probably made for a better story, but it’s sad that he’s been misrepresented in this way. overall very enjoyable and insightful movie, but wish the directors had taken…
