The Seed of the Sacred Fig 2024
Ok yes - the last 40 minutes had me sitting upright in my seat biting my nails. But where was the gripping, heart-racing, edge of your seat thriller I was promised for the other 2 hours? It was too slow in the beginning, and I really saw it going another way. I was hoping for a storyline that spanned over a longer period of time, rather than a few days. Regardless, still an important and powerful message - thanks to the incredible courage of Rasoulof.

We Live in Time 2024
This is one of the worst films I’ve watched in at least a year. I cannot believe I wasted $10 during OSCAR FUCKING SEASON to watch this at the cinemas. Florence was disappointing. Andrew was annoying. The plot and character development was non existent. Why did he previously get divorced? Did she win the competition? So many pointless unanswered sub plots. One star given for the scene at the petrol station. I was extremely bored the entire time.
