Watched this movie to feel something. Something was indeed felt. I think I was crying throughout the whole movie. As someone who’s always been skeptical of the institution of marriage, I really loved how Cianfrance portrayed the volatile nature of love. My favorite aspect was the extreme humanization of Dean and Cindy. Most of the time they were portrayed as hysterical or irrational. I forget that sometimes being hysterical and irrational is what it really means to be human and how it feels to love.
