Presence 2024
This definitely was a bold movie but unfortunately it just didn’t wow me. I felt like the movie was holding my hand most of the time. Any time the characters have a chance to spill exposition they just poured it all out. The ending I think was the only thing that shook me, but other than that I would say this is more of a family drama than a scary movie and even then the drama never gets a conclusion it just kind of ends with the movie. Definitely a solid movie but I don’t think it has much re-watch value

Lost Highway 1997
Yeah, I don’t get it. Hahaha still enjoyed it though. Watched it with my cousin and tried to interpret the movie as we went on watching it. But, then Bill Pullman went ham on the saxophone and any interpretation we could make from then on just served to confuse us more. If you’re watching it for the first time I encourage you to watch it to the end and then think it over. It’s an interesting representation of envy, guilt and denial. The movie doesn’t rely on any type of chronology yet the story still holds.
