Really heartwarming movie, although can't imagine a world in which the first 10-15 minutes didn't traumatise children the world over.

Late Night with the Devil 2023
I absolutely loved the format of this film. I might need to revisit my thoughts later but I can't off the top of my head really fault it on much.
The performances were spot on, particularly Dastmalchian.
I also can't convey enough how much some of the camera and audio design and it's production really did it for me. And who can say no to a bit of practical effects.

This is one of those movie's that after watching I wonder what took me so long. I love that I hated this.
The slow deliberate manner that everyone speaks, even in spite of the events occuring around them gives everyone in this world Lanthimos has created an uncomfortable lack of urgency. Combined with the incredible ever foreboding soundtrack, this movie just feels suffocating from start to finish.
The performances of everyone involved, namely Farrell, Kidman and especially Keoghan are phenomenal.…
