Layered, powerful story that is so so relevant.

Blends of non fiction and storytelling in movies can make for fantastic content. The story of Osage and Native Americans is a shame in our country's history that is brought forward well by Scorcese here. Racial divides and poverty are depicted so well by acting from Leo and Gladstone.

Idk but characters having American or British accents in a movie set in ancient Rome just feel weird to me.

Appreciate the action and Colloseum CGI, but Mezcal just wasn't the guy for this. It was...fine

THIS IS A MOVIE. Watched for first time today and...wow... Acting in this movie is just incredible. Pace, character building, and acting make LA Confidential among the greatest of it's brand of 90s dark action movies. (I am bias towards these movies)

LA Confidential is best with two actors on screen. Duos contribute to it's themes of good vs evil or corrupt vs pure.  GUY PIERCE is my favorite character and actor of this movie. His run with this and…

    ★★★★½

Blow Out is innovative for it's time and a fantastic movie. Bizzare how this movie was released in 1981. Blow Out uses technical effects like sound, camera movement, and framing so well, it's meta from the director. The movie joins together sound and picture in clever ways using it's plot and directing style.

Young Travolta is fantastic, I know why this movie has a cult following. I'm in.

Interesting how budget for this was 18 million. Much more than most other 80s classics. So it's no wonder this movie wasn't a hit right away.
