The Truman Show 1998
This movie made for a pretty profound picture of reality in some ways. In a way that is too poetic for most to understand, it shows how people are so fine with reality that they won't second-guess the supernatural decrees that guide it. However, the movie is pretty ironic in explicitly stating this itself. Further, the movie propagates post-modernism and some secular gnosticism - For that, it is nothing new.

Crap: not connecting, not at all abstract from the problem that it wants to push as something important and doesn't even touch on the problem in a way that challenges anyone in the movie. Didn't really connect to the characters and the characters didn't seem to be very logical people at all. The main theme seemed super blurry and not concrete enough for it to become a movie. Not only do I think that a more abstract and less direct…
