  Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark 2019

  I came in expecting worse, but ultimately this was a fun movie. Some of the acting and writing needed work, but once things got rolling it was really enjoyable. Loved seeing which stories they chose to incorporate, and they did a good job of using a lot of the more notable entries, while still leaving options for a sequel. I got my nostalgia fix without actively regretting having watched, and that's really all I could've asked for.

  So much of this is horrifying and frustrating, but especially just how much this girl was failed by her own parents. And then the mother had the nerve to profit off of this. Absolutely no words.
