  This movie was much better than I expected. Pretty decent direction and even some of the jokes landed. With a more original story and more scares this could've been one of the best of this series. But overall, not bad.

  This was a weak attempt at mixing science fiction and drama. Both angles did not work for me and I felt both were underdeveloped. The drama of the car crash and Rhoda's relationship with the father who survived the crash was unoriginal and sappy. The science fiction aspect of a second earth right next to our own is an interesting idea, but the execution was lacking at best. Some shots of having the planet in the background worked well, but…

  Before watching this film I was totally unfamiliar with Rurouni Kenshin, or Samurai X, a manga/anime series from Japan. I had no idea what it was about.
