  How does this only have 3.1 stars?? Added this to my escapism playlist because perfect movie if you just want to launch yourself into a dark fantasy world for a little over an hour. Acting was just alright by everyone but Tim Curry as Darkness but didn’t really deter from the experience. Only character I genuinely did not like was Gump. The song written for the movie played at the end was everything. Sets and costumes were perfect

  Really enjoyed this movie - any immigrant story is one worth listening to. Saoirse Ronan is an incredibly actress and gives an incredible performance. Acting is good all around (plus my husband Domhnall Gleason is in it 😍). Very moving film in parts

  Oh I loved this movie! The two leads both give amazing performances but Barbara Stanwyck specifically gives the performance of a life time and easily would had one the Oscar if this film was released this year. Basically a will they won’t they but also battle of the sexes type of movie where a con artist falls in love with the man she’s conning.

  Goldfinger 1964

  I actually do love James Bond movies. I think a lot of them are really well made, smart, and fun action movies. I grew up watching the James Bond with Daniel Craig, so those are still my favorites. However, Goldfinger is really good. The theme song?!?!? Incredible! It feels a little dated, slow paced, and low stakes compared to current James Bond films but it is smartly written and fun to watch. Honestly very campy too
