A genius piece of work that’s ahead of its time, a well rounded adaptation of psychoanalysis. Many concepts are illustrated in an artistic view such as transference, dream interpretation, resistance etc. The movie was almost too professional to not be considered a case study. The acting was phenomenal, the romantic line adds warmth into the overall narrative while not distracting it too much. Plot twists were planned at a fascinating rhythm, however there could have been multiple instances to end on, it was a bit excessive. The pace of the whole movie was slow but it showcases a progression of the analysis well in that manner.
