I liked this movie but it made me uncomfortable. I've never seen Raw, so this my first Julia Docournau experience. I think she does an amazing job evoking relatable feelings/insecurities with such an absurd plotline. It really does tap into the struggles of fitting in, having a non-mainstream sexual identity, holding onto your past, looking for acceptance... the body horror wasn't as bad as I was worried it might be, but I probably prepped myself well by spoiling the whole movie ahead of time (as usual).

My favorite scene was every dancing scene.

This movie is so nuts. And I'm really sad I didn't watch it in theaters because it was so beautiful, but also if I had, I probably would have ruined other moviegoers' experiences by repeatedly yelling out "WHAT?! WHAT THE HECK?!"

Tom Hardy is also amazing in this. I'm glad he got some recognition, I feel like his performance was even more insane than Leo's.

Also this is definitely a dude's movie, female characters are hardly in it but when…

This movie is obviously a masterpiece in capturing a multitude of complex emotions surrounding many issues of two women living in a society that puts certain expectations and pressures, which prevent them from easily being able to understand and come to terms with the things they truly want. However, I'll admit that I was a bit put-off by the erotic boys-on-the-beach story, even though I know it was incredibly important for Bergmann and Andersson to have it included.
