Idk, I think this movie is kinda undeniable! I like the kids acting so already I’m more convinced than most, but the mom is amazing, the band characters are amazing. This is a weird gem from a transitional point in filmmaking where you have a modern style coming of age movie but with such a classic feel.

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
This movie was trying some stuff! Sometimes I don’t love the animation (the 50’s aesthetic is everything, sometimes the people are just too ugly you know), but overall I’m so happy it’s something different and they play around with it. Absolutely looney and hilarious enough for a good time even if you can tell it’s rough around the edges (Farmer Jim alone makes this movie worth it). Plus it was inventive and actually creative in the plot. Worst thing about it is ketchup entertainment’s logo I mean c’mon, you can do so much better, you’re name is Ketchup!

I left the theater utterly spent and emotionally exhausted. Not because of the runtime, I think it could have honestly gone on for even longer, but because of everything I witnessed and felt. Wow what a picture!
