Enjoyed. There’s so much that is crammed into these Dune films that I feel like you lose some important character development, and some plot points that should hold more significance end up not getting enough attention which muddles the story a bit. I’ve definitely gained a newfound appreciation for what they managed to do with Lord of the Rings, a similarly massive source material that had to be fit onto the screen.
I think this movie has a great execution visually and sound wise. I love what Villenueve has done so far, I just think these films would benefit from a director’s cut.
