Black 2024
Oddly full of contradictions. Amateurish in some ways and professional in others. Tense yet goofy. Overly simplistic in places and still excessively complicated elsewhere. Idk, kind of all over the place, but it was overall a fun ride. I'll probably try out some more Kollywood shit because of it.

The Silence of the Lambs 1991
Deeply, deeply transphobic, relying on false perceptions of trans women as disturbed and predatory fetishists.
Otherwise a well made and well acted film. I would compliment its feminist attitude if that attitude were not blatantly at the expense of trans women. This movie was pretty much made for TERFs.
