Annie Hall 1977
Painful to watch, so sexist and insufferable.
The only thing that got me through was Annie’s impeccable outfits.
Not what I thought it was going to be at all- very disappointing.

The Old Oak 2023
This film explores community, kindness and loss with a touching amount of sincerity. I was hoping it would be more positive than it was. It had some really difficult moments to sit through and held a deep sadness at its core.

A really emotional watch. Woven together with such care, grace and passion. Wonderful to hear the director talk about it afterwards. Good to know that the pain of the rough cut is universal.
I’ve wanted to know more about Tish Murtha for a while now, it was wonderful to see her photographs on such a large screen and hear her writing. She was so eloquent and insightful. The decision for her story to be told through her daughter Ella was fantastic. So much to take away from this.
