  Every time I think about Operation Market Garden, I am very bothered. But I'll put that aside, because this is a movie. This movie is good, not great. The acting is sort of over the top. I prefer the acting in movies like Saving Private Ryan where the actors are less expressive, and they say a lot less, and its up to the viewer to really decide how they are really feeling.

  I liked the battle scene at the beginning, but after that the movie starts to lose me. It seems like everything that was thrilling and unique about the pacific theater is missed here. We spend too much time in New York, I guess. I guess that really my main complaint.

  This is my favorite movie that takes place between the years 1941 and 1946. "I read your book!" is a memorable line, also the iconic scene where Patton attempts to take down a Messerschmitt 109 with a pistol. My God, no wonder Hittler feared Patton the most!
