  I didn't like Snowpiercer, and I don't like this. It feels like something is either lost in translation and what he tries to communicate through jokes or narrative simply does not work. Maybe it's the team he has to work with, maybe it's simply a language issue, either way this was quite a painful experience!

  And I finally raised this movie to five stars.
  I really felt the atmosphere upon this re-watch. The score, the acting and the cinematography just worked for me. But then again I could say this about all of the S. Kubrick.

  Daudz un dikti visa kā forša.
  Atmosfēra bija super gan audiāli, gan vizuāli uzskatu ka tēmetiski bija desmitniekā. Brīžiem tiekam pie low-framerate smēres vai kādas artsy reprezentācijas tam kā mūsu personāži jūtas vai ko tie redz, šīs visas lietas gāja kopā roku rokā.
  Kādēļ šis viss bija jāpabeidz tik garlaicīgi un klusi, filmas pēdējā trešdaļa šķiet kā čoms kurš aiziet no vakara bāra, nepasakot čau.
  Ja vēlamies parādīt ko vairāk open-ended tas ir forši, bet nevar arī atstāt mūs iepriekš…
