  24 years later, Balrog’s CGI is 10 times better than the CGI in most movies today (Cough* MCU phase 4 & 5 movies Cough*). Also Gandalf and Saruman’s fight is THE FIGHT and would love to reenact it with someone.

  Masterful. My second Coen Brothers movie and I don’t care what the film bros say; this was better than No Country for Old Men. Surprisingly funny, great characters, and wonderful cinematography. I wish westerns were still a popular genre.

  I can’t believe I’m saying this but…. Tyler Perry surprised me with this one.

  Note: My mom forced me to watch this with her.

  I was ready to give a 1 star but I ended up liking it. I will say most of the acting is not great and the script needed some polishing, but KERRY WASHINGTON was the highlight and deserves an Oscar nomination. At the end of the movie, I did feel very “moved” by it and appreciate another “hidden figures” type of story and that is all that matters
