I can’t truly rate this movie.
The real and funny story about the movie is that I’ve watched it with my mom and we found it odd since the beginning, but we kept watching to the point that me and my mom literally had to stop the movie in the middle of it so I could read what was it about.
And OMG - we had no clue 😂😂.

This is a little awkwardly put together by Wenders - e.g. poor voice dubbing; questionable acting in places; largely uninteresting story - but seeing the Lisbon streets on video (with its washed-out colours and the innocence it's sorta lost in places) really is wonderful to watch. The music and presence of Portuguese band Madredeus brings charisma and a level of class the film couldn't really manage without them.
